The Leafspoon series is one of Nina's initial projects where she captures the pristine beauty of nature.

She discovered that a leaf could serve perfectly as a bowl and the stem as a handle. When creating the molds for the spoon, nature is literally copied, with various types of cabbage serving as the base. Liquid plaster is poured around the cabbage leaves.

After baking, the different parts are joined together with drops of porcelain. The connections are accentuated by golden highlights. Each spoon is unique due to the endless combinations and the manual bonding process.
