In 2011, as part of my final project for my BA in Product Design at ArtEZ, I conceived the following concept titled 'Tableau Vivant': By attentively observing the world around me, I register my reality. I bring forth this reality in a poetic and fairy-tale-like manner. Much like in a fairy tale or a surrealistic dream, objects become either immensely large or infinitely small, changing their context. In my world, cages morph into rings, birds into pipes, and Brussels sprouts into pearls. Each new object and project I encounter is seen as a fragment of a new reality, one that I aim to invite the audience into.
